The popular Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema (BAFICI) takes place each year with screenings at Hoyts Abasto cinema and other venues citywide. See Argentine and international features, Argentine shorts and films in the open air too.
BAFICITO is a part of the festival dedicated to children's films and there are also select screenings accompanied by live music.
